Important boundaries

The operator is not a charity or qualified donee and cannot issue an official charitable receipt or charitable tax credit.

A voluntary transfer does not, by itself, provide a product, service, repayment, ownership interest, return, control, recognition, or tax receipt. This does not exclude rights or duties that applicable law does not permit anyone to waive, including valid ownership or mistake claims, taxes, sanctions controls, and court orders.

Blockchain transfers are normally irreversible. Net realized proceeds are intended for the operator’s debt after applicable claims, taxes, reserves, fees, necessary campaign costs, and other non-waivable duties. Reaching zero debt is a milestone and does not close the campaign before the exclusive Day-365 cutoff.
